I was thinking the same thing about the water looking like a dirty diaper was floatin in it...brown and murky for sure. The picture looks like a studio shot to me.

That's exactly my thoughts Jeremy.
Here's why... any other bird, the feet and wings would be tucked. Think about seagulls and pelicans. Also, look at the eyes. Eyes look blued, like a dead fish. Why would the bird enter the water in such a poor form? The bird would have basically belly flopped...I don't see that as probable. Now that I've analyzed this...I feel bad for posting this. haha.
