Default Zenfolio

Zenfolio went live with some cool features today.

You can now create a menu bar linking to external websites or specific galleries, choose an updated layout and make your own color scheme. There is now an option for a slide show on your home page-the slide show has to be from a pre-made gallery and you cant change the size of it. I would like it about half the size....

my zenfolio home page now matches (kind of) my website colour scheme.

They now have search engine tools to help with SEO too. there seem to be lots of nice little changes.

I like the new changes, but they need to be fine tuned a little I think.

I hadn't even noticed!

Time to log in and look under the hood.

Thanks for the heads up.

You can also set your home page to be your regular website which is nice, so now in my website menu I have two links that take you too zenfolio and on my zenfolio page which now has a menu you can easily navigate back, I like these changes!

I am considering paying for this and integrating it into my website. Easier for me and my clients to order. The only thing is that I would have to ship them to myself since I always like to "inspect" the quality of the prints I'm selling. So it would probably mean double shipping fees.

I have a trail version right now and plan on going this route myself...still playing around with it as of right now.

Host gator includes this option through fantastico. Now, can you make it as a sub domain or sub directory without redirecting the link to zenfolio's actual web address?

When you set up the re-direct you can have it mask the url so it shows up as a sub-directory or sub-domain of your website instead of showing the zenfolio address.

That's how mine is done at http://gallery.jinxtphoto.com
