According to the reviews on amazon that should work just fine for non-ai and ai/s lenses, so yeah. That'd be the one to try.

Can't blame you for wanting the best of the mainstream lenses

My adapter's came in today!! The metering works fine, but of course communication for focus and aperture don't work. I expected the focus and aperture reading not to work. It's cool step down the aperture and watch the image get darker.
Here are some sample play shots. I'm pretty excited! I really like theses lenses so far.

(Flickr is really irritating me with the new layout)

Nikkor-H 50mm f/2 @ f/2

Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Nikon F mount @ f/2.8

Nikkor-Q 200mm f/4 @ f/4

Yup, that's the only annoying part. You have to focus wide-open and then manually stop the lens down before pressing the shutter if you want anything except wide-open.

I expected it to be a little work. That's why it's mainly for creative having fun purposes. So far the fun part seems like it will work out.

Thought I would throw up some 100% samples of the same shots.

Nikkor-Q 200mm f/4 100%

Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Nikon F mount 100%
Pretty surprised at how sharp this is.

Nikkor-H 50mm f/2 100%
Dirty UV filter.
